Lesson 32. Live in the Spirit

Oh, this is an easy one to review. On the whiteboard, I wrote as many functions of the Holy Ghost as I could think of. Let's see if I can restructure some of those---comforted, instructed, warned, chastised, protected, taught, brought to remembrance...if I find my notes, I'll add to the list later.

Then I simply asked the class to review the list and share any related experiences they were comfortable describing. Some, obviously, are so sacred that to reveal them in a public setting would be to diminish them. But the purpose was to illustrate that being led by the Spirit is indeed a reality in everyday lives.

Now, if that is something that you would like to preserve for your children and your posterity, you might want to consider recording those experiences in your journal. If you don't write them down, they will disappear...not only for those who come later but for you yourself as well. I have personally been amazed as I've looked back in old journals and been reminded about experiences that I had long ago forgotten.

So there's your homework. Write! Or record in some way! It's important.
